What size mail can the SECURELY Smart Wall Letter Box accept?
The SECURELY Letter Box is designed to accept standard letters, A4 envelopes, documents and small courier satchels. The wide mail slot and internal chute make it easy for posties to drop mail in without bending or forcing items.
If you regularly receive larger parcels or multiple courier deliveries, we recommend upgrading to the SECURELY Smart Parcel Box which is built for medium and large parcel volumes.
Are your letterboxes waterproof?
Yes. Both of our letterbox options are certified as IP44 weather-resistant and feature an angled lid flap that sheds water effectively. Combined with the powder-coated steel exterior and inner flume your mail is protected from dust and stays dry even in harsh New Zealand weather conditions.
Can the box rust over time?
We have incorporated a highly protective powder-coated finish to each box designed to resist rust in coastal, wet and windy environments. The angled flap lid is angled to allow for efficient water run off to prevent water pooling on the top of the unit which can lead to long term rusting on flat tops
How does the SMART lock features work?
As part of purchasing your letterbox we provide instructions for how to access and download the app for free. Once installed you will be able to connect your letterbox, assign a pin for the keypad and start enjoying the benefits of keyless entry.
You will not only be able to unlock the letterbox using the mobile app but will also be able to:
- Create temporary access pins
- One time use pins
- Pins for neighbours, friends and family members
- One touch remote access
Will posties know how to use it?
Yes. The intuitive design with a simple lid flap and letter slot design makes it intentionally simple to operate. Posties can drop letters and small satchels up to A4 in size straight in without needing to learn a new procedure. We make it easy for Posties but hard for anyone else trying to invade your privacy!
Is it easy to install my new letterbox?
The letterbox includes pre-drilled mounting holes and comes with all required screws, making installation straightforward on walls, fences, verandahs or posts. Most customers complete installation without evening needing the included instructions.
We include the batteries for the security keypad so you can start using your new letterbox straight away.
